KICK OFF THE FOOTSTOOLS!
The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. MY purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

You can never steal what belongs to you. You can never steal from yourself. What you have is yours, you own it. Only someone else can steal it.
Thieves steal. They take what doesn’t belong to them, without the intention of returning it. The devil will never steal what belongs to him. He steals what doesn’t belong to him. He steals the Children of GOD.
But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the SON Of GOD came to destroy the works of the devil. Those who have been born into GOD’s Family do not make a practice of sinning, because GOD’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are Children of GOD. So now we can tell who are Children of GOD and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to GOD.
1 John 3:8-10 NLT
The Bible also reminds us that the devil is like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. He will not look for his children to devour them. He has already devoured them and has them at his corner, as he continues finishing them up. Never think that the enemy will only be concerned with people who are not Born-Again, those who are perishing.
He is also after you that is walking closely with GOD. Whatever is for GOD destroys his works and he does not want that.
He is waiting for that slip up that goes unconfessed, that sin that goes un-repented, that skeleton that is properly stashed away in the wardrobe, the sin that you will support and concoct Scripture to try cover up for what you are doing wrong, the anger that goes unchecked, the love for money that is justified with, “JESUS came to give us a satisfying life…”, that idol stored up that you keep saying good night to…
The devil will find them all and make them his footstools and he will get to you Child of GOD.
So be careful how you walk your journey in Christianity.
Lay off those footstools that you have lined up for the devil to reach you. Kick them right off his feet and walk with GOD, genuinely.
The stealing process is a distraction, promise of success, success itself and other things that make it look like it’s from GOD. Then when he finishes enticing you, he will kill you. He will remove from you every passion you had for GOD. He will take away from you the zeal you once had for CHRIST and make you feel tired of following HIM. He will make you think that GOD’s Commands are unachievable, especially with the hardships we face in this World. He will lie to you that the “JESUS Story” is just that, a plain old story, a fallacy. He will take away every moral fibre from you till you cannot recognise who you were in CHRIST. And then thinking that he has a position for you somewhere because you are fully converted to his “religion”, he gets rid of you after using you, he destroys you. He is looking for company in hell. He already knows his final fate and he does not want to be alone and so he will look for and deceive as many as can accompany him there.
Yes, GOD is gracious and will HE restore you when you are convicted to go back to HIM, but that has to be something you want.
Be on your guard. Hide so deep in GOD that the enemy will need to ask HIM for permission to get to you, like he did for Job. And because GOD has confidence in you, HE will allow for it because HE knows it will be for your good and HE will give the enemy that disclaimer, “But touch not his life!”
Ask GOD for Wisdom and Knowledge. The Bible reminds us that if we need Wisdom, we can ask our generous GOD for it, and HE will give it to us without rebuking us for asking. The Bible has also told us that GOD’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Keep the enemy at bay and from destroying you by asking GOD for Wisdom, Knowledge and Strength to resist him and to hold on to CHRIST. Ask that you will be so fully immersed and saturated in The SPIRIT of GOD, WHO guides us in the ways of GOD and keeps us from the temptation of walking to and in evil.
Submit yourselves, then, to GOD. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:7 NIV
And we thank JESUS that we have a promise in HIM. That by rejecting the enemy and his fake promises, we shall have life and have it in abundance.
It is not necessarily a life full of riches and wealth. JESUS wants to give us well beyond the tangibles. HE can give you what the World cannot afford. HE has given us Forgiveness, Rest, Grace and most amazingly, The HOLY SPIRIT, WHO produces in our lives a Fruit that is one of a kind. A Fruit that is nothing that the World Logic can ever figure out.
There is so much in CHRIST. So much that cannot be compared to anything that was ever promised to you by the World.
Choose JESUS.
PRAYER
Dear JESUS,
I accept YOU to rule over my heart today, this week and every other day of my life on Earth. Take over my thoughts, words and actions.
Help me be always full of YOUR HOLY SPIRIT. Help me be always submitted to YOU, focussed and fixated on YOU and be fully in your service, that no distraction from the enemy will look good and sway me in a direction opposite from YOURS.
Help me desire the Heavenly things that are far above what the World can give. Help me realise that what the World gives is temporary and destructive, but what YOU give is permanent and a Gift that will lead me to live an Eternal Life with YOU.
In YOUR Powerful Name I pray,
