GOODBYE GOODBYE HALLO HALLO

As we move away from a year that has tested most of us in outrageous ways, I feel the need to share with us what Transitions and the ending and beginning of Seasons may look like. 
I know that most of us associate a New Year with the same and so what a better time to share what is in my heart about this. 
I pray that this will be an eye-opening experience for you and if this is for you, (because how hard these messages came wouldn’t be in vain) may GOD help you move or mind shift however quickly you need to.  

Transitions and Seasons will not always come with movement from a particular place, though most times they come with that. 
A Transition or an end of a Season could also be a mind shift, a change in thinking, a change in doing things, a change in how you present yourself, a change in how you Worship, how you have matured and so much more.  
May GOD guide you on what it should be. 
We all get afraid to move into new foreign territories, but if GOD is calling you out of the old and ushering you into the new, HE has already gone ahead and prepared your place. 
The ground you will step on at first will feel like quick sand, but hold on to HIM. 
With time, you will get a hold of your steps, and perhaps start moving faster towards your next Transition. 
Fret not. It may look like a wilderness at first, but later, you will see the bounty of that land. 

Don’t miss out on the signs when GOD is about to uproot you from somewhere; when HE is saying that your time is up at a specific place. 
Ask HIM to help you identify the signs so that you don’t get stagnant and unwanted and unneeded. 
Ask HIM to open your eyes and save you some trouble, especially before the discomfort becomes pain.

When certain people, things and happenings walk into, enter into and occur in a certain season of your life, it’s a sign that it’s time to move on to another Season. 
You were never meant to share the same space with those specific people, things and happenings.
It’s not pride, it’s just a cue. 
Perhaps a way for GOD to grow them as well, and your presence will hinder that! 

Pay attention, it could be a cycle or a one time occurrence. 
When they enter, exit! 
Take note of who and what they are. It could be your cue for the next Transition. 
Same way in every new year, students move to the next class and if a whole class stays in their former year, there will be no movement for the ones in need of that class. 
See it that you are creating space for others by not hogging the space you are meant to have moved from. 

When happenings like insults, bullying, contempt, openly being taken for granted and being talked down on happen in increasing unending, unhidden measures, take the cue. 
When you find yourself needing to guard your heart more than you needed to before and it becomes a struggle sometimes to stop the arrows from getting through, take a bow.

Sorry excuse me… I am here to Worship, not compete, thanks. 
When you never feel the need to prove a point about how good you are and can do and instead feel the need to always please GOD and allow HIM the Glory in all, a transition has already occurred. 
In whatever you do, you will feel the need to first please GOD and make a sacrifice of Praise through what you are doing. 
If all the other things are added to you, like accolades and “clappings” and increments, well and good. 
If none of it comes and you know it was all about GOD, you will still be content. 
And so it will never be about outdoing others or being ahead of them or being most favoured and loved. 
It will be about outdoing yourself in the previous assignment and doing better to please GOD first, then man, if ever necessary.

In some circumstances, when GOD wants to move you, especially from a place you are really good at, HE will either “dim your shine” in that particular place or raise someone who will seemingly be “better” than you.
HE knows well that attention will be drawn away from you and before they know it or can remember how good you are, you are no longer available, making it easier for you to leave. 
So when you find your schedules and other factors not in line with theirs, and honestly so, the move is happening. GOD will let you shine brighter at your new placement more than you did at your former place.
That light was meant to shine brightest in this new level. 

Don’t blame them for all the work you did to help them that sometimes went unrewarded and unrecognised. 
Don’t hold it against them for moving on to the “next best” thing. 
Thank GOD because HE used the circumstance to move you to a Higher Glory, discretely, but with intention. 
HE hid you with good reason.  
HE moved you in a way that you won’t need to go back. 
HE makes sure that all your ties are broken in the distraction of what was seemingly “better.” 
So when your light seems dimmed or you feel as though you’re “not being seen,” don’t fret or feel inadequate. 
Be glad and get ready for a Super Transition.

When the Systems, Morals, Values, Principles and Beliefs of your Current Placement and Season all of a sudden change against your favour or do not sit right with you, perhaps it’s a call for a Transition. 
GOD speaks through our conscience and whenever we have that unsettling feeling, it could be that GOD is nudging us out of a place. 
If you find yourself disagreeing or feeling uncomfortable with the decisions and reasoning of a particular place, consider movement. 
It could be nothing wrong with what they are doing, but perhaps you’ve outgrown their “thinking systems.” 
Or perhaps, there is something not right with their moral fibre all together.

When you are always needed as a last resort or you are only called when you are only needed, consider a Transition. When they know no one else will take up the job because it’s pro bono or doesn’t have much value, they will definitely call you because they know what your priorities are… Experience, Value and Helping Friends in need. 
But note, GOD didn’t invest in you to be “used and dumped.” 
If they have to praise you unnecessarily to make you believe how much they value you so that you go in for a favour, it’s about time! 
When they hold you in high regard only when it’s convenient to lie to you, move. 
You will always know what your “high regard” really is when their most preferred is around.
Be attentive. The attention will always shift to what favours them at that point in time. 
No blame goes out to anyone. 
It’s just your cue to move.

And finally… 
When it’s too easy and you are stagnating, it’s that time of your life. 
GOD is interested in seeing us grow. 
HE knows without growth there would never be a “From One Glory To Another.” 
Higher Glories come by growing and because HE wants us to move from one to another, HE has created in us the desire of “I can do better.” 
When you feel you aren’t adding any more value to where you are, when you feel you have exhausted all your additions to a place, a Transition is beckoning. 

It’s not about the amount of attention you get that should make you stay in a specific Season.  
So a lack of it shouldn’t necessarily make you move. 
It’s about the cues that GOD gives. 
They are clear, deliberate, specific and if we do not see them well, we shall be holding on to “GoodByes” and delaying our “Hallos.” 
Ask GOD to help you identify the cues and take the necessary action.
